The Dog Senseis started, as all great things do, out of a passion for working with and being around dogs.

As martial arts instructors, we naturally gravitated towards teaching respect, responsibility and discipline to our own dogs. As a bunch of guys and gals who love to have fun, we also made sure that this process was a great time for our four legged pals.
People started noticing how much fun we were having, and how well behaved all of our dogs became. |
Imagine, a bunch of shelter dogs, many of them pits and pit mixes coming down the street towards you. Scary? Hardly. Now imagine these dogs being walked and handled by a group of small children in karate uniforms, being led by none other than one of the Dog Senseis.

In time, more and more people asked us to work with their dogs, and so it came to be.
