FAQ

Q. What makes you different from other programs?
A. Most dog training and obedience is focused around 'sit, stay, come, heel' types of activities, which may work under the right conditions, but does not address the inner world of your dog. What we do is totally different.
We are dog behavior specialists - we help your dog achieve the state of being where he or she willingly follows your lead all the time. This can only be achieved when your dog is happy and balanced, based on what a dog actually needs.
The truth is, most people treat their dogs as if they were human members of the family, and this is a mistake. Keep in mind, they are canines, and we are primates, so the same rules don't apply. We will not only get your dog to behave the way you want, but we will educate you as to what your dog understands by your actions, and how to communicate with him or her more effectively. You will be surprised at how simple and effective this is.
When we are done working with you and your dog, you will understand each other on a deeper level, and be able to achieve the incredible bond that is possible between humans and dogs. To truly love your dog, you have to understand what a dog needs to be fullfilled, and how you can provide it. We help you to do that.

Q. How long is a session?
A. Sessions typically last about an hour.

Q. What happens in a session?
A. We address your dog's specific behaviors, in his/her natural environment. The first one or two sessions we address the dog's behavior(s). In the next few sessions, we teach you to do exactly what we do.

Q. My dog is the worst-behaved dog in the world. Can you really help?
A. Definitely. Most behaviors are fairly simple to solve, even if they have gotten out of hand. Very few dogs are really 'bad dogs'. Most just have bad behaviors stemming from the same few sources.

Q. How young/old can my dog be?
A. We can work with dogs of any age.
